Classic Recycling New York Corp. (“Classic Recycling,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

Effective date: 10/06/2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit classicrecycling.com, request or receive our services, apply for a job, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with us. Personal information means information that identifies or can reasonably be associated with an individual. This policy does not govern websites or services operated independently by others, even if we link to them.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and business information, such as your name, business name, title, email address, telephone number, mailing or service address, and communications preferences.
  • Service and account information, such as quote requests, service inquiries, scheduling details, complaints, correspondence, records of our responses, account or billing information, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Applicant information, such as contact information, résumé, employment and education history, qualifications, and information supplied through our application process. Additional information may be collected where relevant to a position and permitted by law.
  • Website and device information, such as IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referral information, and technical records generated when you use the website or submit a form.

We collect information directly from you; through our dealings with your business; automatically when you use our website; and, where appropriate, from service providers or other sources involved in providing services or processing an application. If you use a website tool to look up a service location or commercial waste zone, the address you enter may be transmitted to the provider of the lookup service to return a result. Please do not submit sensitive information in a general inquiry unless it is needed for your request.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; prepare quotes; establish, provide, schedule, and manage services; handle complaints and other customer-service matters; maintain relevant business records; communicate about accounts and service; process applications; operate, maintain, and secure the website; prevent misuse; comply with legal or regulatory obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

We may also send newsletters or other marketing communications where appropriate. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us. Service or account communications are separate from marketing messages.

As a commercial waste zone service provider, we may maintain customer-service and operational records and provide information to the New York City Department of Sanitation as required by applicable law, our customer-service obligations, or our agreement with the Department. This does not mean that every website submission is reported to the Department.

4. Cookies and Website Technologies

Our website and the providers that support it may use cookies, browser storage, server logs, and similar technologies to operate website features, remember settings or language preferences, maintain security, and understand technical performance. Some features, such as maps, translation tools, or address lookups, may connect to outside services that receive technical information about your visit or the information you submit to that feature. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect certain features.

We will update this policy if our website practices change materially.

5. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to providers that support our hosting, communications, storage, website features, hiring, and other business operations; to government bodies, including the Department of Sanitation, when required or appropriate to meet our legal or contractual obligations; and to others where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of our services. Information may also be transferred in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

We may share aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify an individual. We do not sell personal information or disclose it to others for their own advertising purposes.

6. Payments and Third-Party Sites

If you follow a link from our website to an independent bill-payment provider, that provider's privacy policy and terms govern the information you give it. We do not collect your payment card or bank credentials through our website's forms. Other websites and services linked from our site likewise have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

7. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including providing services, maintaining business and customer-service records, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. Retention periods may vary by type of record. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we maintain about you. We will evaluate and respond to requests as required by applicable law, and may verify your identity and retain information where necessary for lawful business, recordkeeping, or regulatory purposes. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contact us. Browser settings may allow you to control cookies and other locally stored information. Additional rights may be available depending on applicable law and your place of residence.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and job applicants, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The last updated date above will identify the current version. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
